Thursday evening, Sept. 22,at the 1st Unitarian Universalist Center of San Francisco.

Featuring Diane on her experiences with Afghan women, and Samina Ali, Lucha Corpi, Elaine Lee, and Laura Fraser. Also with classical Chinese women’s poetry set to music and performed on traditional instruments by Clara Hsu and David Wong.

All proceeds go to the Global Fund for Women, which gives grants to women’s human rights groups in over 160 countries working in such critical areas as girls’ access to education, women’s economic independence, and stopping violence against women.
